OPI is a rather controversial shade. A lot of people seem to get outraged when it's brought up since the formula has been quite drastically changed since it first came out. The original was a true holographic polish and has since been changed to a different base colour with sparse holo glitter. The version I have is the more common later version and while I don't have the original to make a comparison I still like this polish. It's not the most unique shade in the world but it's pretty and chic and nice to wear. I wouldn't say no to it if I found the other version but for now I'm fine with just owning this one.

I don't have the original version either (but have at least two later ones). I just wish they'd given the later versions new names instead of maintaining that there wasn't a change. Really, OPI? No change? I am not blind, so I do not believe you.
ReplyDelete@KarenD - I agree. Changing the name would have been a good idea. Seems odd trying to pass off one polish as another.
