charming chubby cheeks
Chubby Cheeks from Essie is a dusky orange with a hint of coral and it's absolutely lovely. It's bright but not too in your face. It's glossy and opaque and just an all round fab polish. Very glad to have picked this one up recently.

little brown dress
Finally got around to trying Little Brown Dress by Essie. I've heard that people tend to have mixed feelings about this polish and I can see why. The formulations great. It was perfect in two coats and dried to a glossy finish but in most light I found that it simply looked black. Which I didn't mind too much since it still looked lovely and glossy and vampy but I do prefer when a polish shows up truer to bottle colour but oh well I still enjoyed wearing it but I'm not too worried that I only have the mini bottle.

funny face
I don't usually go for such 'obvious' pinks but Funny Face is one of my favourite movies so I just couldn't resist. I'm actually really glad I'm a sucker for names because I ended up really enjoying wearing this polish! It's such a fun happy looking shade. Really lifted my mood! So thanks Essie, you surprised me again.
and just for the hell of it here's a picture of dear old Fred and Audrey in Funny Face.
Aren't they lovely!

little bit of a limited addiction
As you can see from the pictures I only have the mini bottle of Essie's Limited Addiction and while I like it I'm not too worried about running out any time soon. This red is gorgeous and sultry and oh so "grown up". Now, don't get me wrong. I love me a good grown up polish but it's not something I crave on a daily basis. Lovely to have none the less. x

doing the chinchilly cha cha
I am such a fan of gray polish (if you haven't already noticed) and Chinchilly by Essie is no exception. This gorgeous taupy gray has me completely smitten. It's pale but not so pale it makes me look dead. I have nothing else quite like this in my ever growing collection which is almost a shame since I can see myself using this colour right down to the last drop. Well worth checking out. x

smokin' hot heaven
Smokin' Hot by Essie has received quite a lot of attention since its release late last year and I can certainly see why. This deep gray with its subtle tinge of purple is simply stunning. This colour looks incredibly chic on short nails such as mine and will without a doubt be reached for on frequent occasions.

oh van d'go!
Van D'Go is from Essie's 2010 Spring collection and is by far my fav from that collection. I don't love pastel colours as a rule but this peachy pink is just too pretty to pass up. besides, Essie do amazing creams. This colour is making my want to check out their new French Affair collection...
