wings of a dove
I have yet to find a gray nail polish that I don't like so it wasn't much of a surprise that I fell in love with Dove by Zoya. The formulation was lovely and it was opaque in 2 coats. Pale grays are just so flattering. I honestly can't have enough of them in my collection. Without a doubt a winner. x

paint the town with fairy dust
Paint The Town is a bright orange toned red that i'm not entirely sure suits me. It is super fun and pretty but I just don't feel completely comfortable in this type of red polish which is why I added a layer of Fairy Dust by China Glaze, which for some reason made me feel better... yeah. IDK.

go go for gunfighter
Obsessed. I don't know how else to describe how I feel about this polish. It is amazing. BB Couture polishes are fast becoming one of my all time favs. This colour in particular is from their latest collection and it's from the Men's half of the collection. Gunfighter is a grayed out blue with so much shimmer, it's crazy. In certain lighting this can look silver which is also very pretty but in the sun as well as bright artificial lighting this polish really stands out. I'm so in love. I really am.

Intriguingly matte
Intrigue is my first full size Jessica Polish and I like this polish but I'm not in love. It's a pretty pale taupey colour with purple undertones (actually quite similar to China Glaze' Below Deck). The formula was good, it applied quite well but nothing to rave about in my opinion. I didn't love the way this looked on me so I added a matte top coat which I think vastly improved it. What do you think? Better glossy or matte?

playing with palisade
Palisade by Nubar from their Fortress collection is one of my all time favorite grays. Simply love it. But I can't seem to leave well enough alone at the moment so I added a coat of OPIs Teenage Dream over the top. I quite like the effect but I still prefer plain ole' Palisade all by its lonesome. What do you think? prefer the plain creme or is it better blinged up?

last friday nights gumdrops
So this gorgeous combination was my not so typical Valentines day manicure and I loved it! I started with Revlon's Gumdrop which is one of their scented polishes from last spring and I don't usually like really pale colours on me but this one surprisingly works. I then put a coat of Last Friday Night from OPIs Katy Perry collection and the result was perfect sparkly nails that seemed to glow from within. The pictures don't capture how gorgeous this combination really was so if you have both these polishes at your disposal then I highly recommend you trying this out!

all about antique
Yet another Gray. Antique is a dark silvery gray, very similar to Jitterbug from China Glazes Vintage Vixens collection. I love these type of darker glittery polishes, they really stand out for me. I only have a few Jessica polishes but so far I'm impressed (not including Tradition which was a bit of a stainy let down...). The wear time on this polish was pretty good. Five days without chipping, just some minimal tip wear. Worth taking a look at i think. x

doing the chinchilly cha cha
I am such a fan of gray polish (if you haven't already noticed) and Chinchilly by Essie is no exception. This gorgeous taupy gray has me completely smitten. It's pale but not so pale it makes me look dead. I have nothing else quite like this in my ever growing collection which is almost a shame since I can see myself using this colour right down to the last drop. Well worth checking out. x

hey disappointing doll
I really thought I was going to love Hey Doll from China Glazes 2010 fall collection, Vintage Vixens but this brown tinged rosy pink really fell short for me. Very unflattering on me and my particular bottle was thick and hard to work with. As you can tell from the pictures, this polish looks very brown in natural lighting; however, in artificial light it did look much pinker and a lot more flattering. I'm sure I'll give this another chance at some point but for now I'm not impressed.
